　　Helping others has always been a virtue in traditional Chinese culture. But what’s strange nowadays is that people dare not show their helping hands to those in need. I would like to elaborate my views on this issue.

　　乐于助人在中国传统文化中一直是一种美德。可是很奇怪的是，现在的人都不敢伸出援手去帮助那些需要帮助的人

　　Firstly, I think people’s moral sense has degraded. When egoism gains the upper hand, many people find it growingly hard to help others. Secondly, there is no denying that some tragic events turn out to be traps by people with evil intentions. So common people are becoming more risk-conscious and are more wary of traps and deceits.

　　首先，我认为人们的道德意识已经退化。当利己主义获得了上风，许多人觉得越来越难去帮助别人。其次，毫无疑问一些不幸的事件结果证明是有着不良目的的陷阱。因此，老百姓变得越来越有危机意识而陷阱和骗局也变得越来越谨慎。

　　In general, I contend the idea that we should be warm-hearted and offer help as well as look out for potential hazards so as not to be deceived.

　　总的来说，我主张应该热心肠，我认为我们应该热心提供帮助同时也留心潜在危险，以免被骗。

　　It is often said that helping others will be rewarded. However, I think should not only help others.

　　I remember going to Haier square with Guo Xinyu once. I suddenly had a stomachache. I told Guo Xinyu that I would go to the bathroom and let her wait for me in the woods. After that, I ran to public toilet with thunderbolt. When I went to the bathroom and was ready to cross the road, I saw a man run to a small bike and to the side of the bike. Look, look west, see no one next to it, and move the car away.

　　人们常说，帮助别人会有好报。不过，我认为帮助别人不应该只图好报。

　　记得有一次，我和郭鑫钰一起去海尔广场。我突然肚子痛，就告诉郭鑫钰我去一下卫生间，让她在小树林等我。说完，我就以迅雷不及掩耳之势跑向公共卫生间。上完卫生间，准备过马路的时候，我看到一个人跑到一辆小型自行车旁边，到自行车旁边的时候，东瞧瞧，西瞧瞧，看见旁边没有人，才把车子搬走。

　　It is a kind of moral behavior and moral feeling that the honest and good people have a sense of moral obligation and take the initiative to give others unselfish help and feel happy and happy from them. The ancient sages of our country have a lot of life motto about helping people and being beautiful, such as "the slowest and the beautiful", "the precious man is cheap, the first man then", "the urgency of the man" is more than the private. 　　助人为乐，是正直善良的人怀着道德义务感，主动去给他人以无私的帮助，并从中感到幸福愉快的一种道德行为和道德情感。我国古代先贤们有许多关于助人为乐、成人之美的处世格言，如“忽已之慢，成人之美”，“贵人而贱已，先人而后已”，“趋人之急，甚于已私”，“悯济人穷，虽分文升合亦是福田；乐与人善，即只字片言皆为良药”。两千年前墨子就倡导：“摩顶放踵，利天下为之。”其意思是说，对别人有利的事，即使从头顶到脚跟都受到损伤，也要干。这种精神发扬到现在，就是我们所提倡的“毫不利已、专门利人”的精神。
