Language points

bring back  此处意为“带回”

(1)接名词作宾语时，放在back后或bring和back 之间均可;

(2)接代词作宾语时，只能放在bring和back之间。

拓展：bring back  

（1）bring back 表示“使想起；使回忆起”。     

例：The trip brought back a lot of happy memories.这次旅行唤起了许多美好的回忆。

（2）bring …back to…表示“把……带回到……”。

例：The old buildings brought us back to the long past ages.

那些古老的建筑把我们带回到久远的年代。

2. How long have they been here?

现在完成时的特殊疑问句式

基本结构为：“疑问句+have/has + sb./sth. +动词过去分词+其他？”。
